Welcome to the new Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens web site. We recently made some enhancements that will help you navigate more easily. It was also time for a makeover and we hope you like it! Please let us know what other features would make this a better experience for all users.

Sign The Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens provide community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship.

Past efforts by the Friends contributed to collaboration among government agencies and community interest groups seeking to solve problems related to the Guadalupe River flood control project. The Friends are continually involved in completing the master plans for both the park and gardens, creating educational programs, promoting awareness of the Park & Gardens, and developing membership and volunteer opportunities to increase public support and involvement.
Guadalupe River Park is a three-mile ribbon of park land that runs along the banks of the Guadalupe River in the heart of downtown San Jose from Highway 880 at the north, to Highway 280 at the south. It is a resource of regional importance to the people of Santa Clara County and the Bay Area.
Guadalupe Gardens, which already features a renowned Heritage Rose Garden with over 3,700 varieties of roses, is being created adjacent to the River Park on land just south of the Mineta San Jose International Airport.  The Gardens are a place of great beauty, planted in a variety of gardens for the enjoyment and education of visitors.
